Merkur is the name of the German Railway Society's quarterly journal. It is printed on glossy paper to A5 size with colour and black and white illustrations and photographs. Advertisements from traders are published. Currently it has 52 pages with 16 pages in full colour. Merkur is our predominent form of contact with most members. It includes articles on prototype and modelling subjects as well as information about the society, exhibitions that will be attended, current happenings in the model trade, recent and future events on the prototype scene and a 'sales and wants' section which is free to our members. All members receive 4 journals per society year (quarterly) winter, spring, summer, autumn. STOP PRESS Also look out for a new range of Special extra publications, although costing approximately £1,500 per issue, they will be free to the membership, just another example of the GRS giving extra value to its membership. | ||
