Willkommen!

Welcome to the website of the German Railway Society. A Company Limited by Guarantee, we are a friendly railway society for enthusiasts of German railways. Our Society was founded in 1981. We have members throughout the world. Our aim is to encourage interest in all aspects of German railways. Whilst we do not intend to duplicate the worthy work done by other societies, it is impossible to separate many of the aspects of the German from other European systems. We welcome all interests, prototype enthusiasts and modellers irrespective of scale and make of model railway. We are a national society with local groups who hold meetings in various areas of Britain.
