This booklet is the fourth in a series featuring images from the slide collection donated to the Society by the late David Odd. It covers diesel and electric locomotives of the Deutsche Reichsbahn in the German Democratic Republic. Both pre- and post-1945 types are covered, including some in preservation, and they range from heavy freight locos through to multiple-units. Most photos were taken in the 1990s at locations in the former East Germany.
Each slide in the collection has a brief description of place, date and locomotive details and these provide the captions for the photographs.
