The Deutsche Reichsbahn Baureihe 18 brought together 4-6-2 locomotives from the former state railways of Germany including those of Bavaria, Baden, Prussia, Saxony and Württemburg. This booklet describes the histories of these locomotives along with several experimental types that were also included in BR 18.
